The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday recovered drugs from Goa from the possession of Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades. Agisialos Demetriades was produced in court and has now been sent to judicial custody for two weeks. Arjun Rampal’s reaction has come on this.

Arjun Rampal said, ‘Dear friends, followers and public, I am as shocked as you are to hear this news. It is unfortunate that my name is being dragged unnecessarily in every news even though I have nothing to do with it.

Arjun Rampal further said, ‘As far as my family and I are concerned, my family and I are law abiding citizens. While there is a person involved in the incident who is a relative of my partner, I have no other relationship with this person.

Arjun Rampal has appealed to the media not to use his name unnecessarily. Arjun Rampal said, ‘I request the media not to make headlines using my name as we are not related and it is causing sadness and confusion to my own family and people with whom I have a professional relationship. ‘

Arjun Rampal further said, ‘We have faith in our legal system and whoever violates the law must be punished. I have full faith in the system. Arjun Rampal said in the end, ‘Let the law do its job and don’t drag my name and my partner’s name into something that we don’t care about. I appreciate all your support and humbly request you to be honest and sensitive in this regard.’
