Aryan Khan case: Event company co-founder arrested, investigation started against ship officials

The investigation has spread further in the case of Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, arrested in connection with drugs busted in Mumbai cruise ship. It is reported that the co-founder of ‘Namascray’, an event management company associated with the luxury cruise, has been arrested.

According to an India Today report, apart from the arrest of the co-founder and the interrogation of friend Arbaaz Merchant, who is reportedly in contact with the peddlers, the NCB claims that he has links with the arrested drug peddler Shreyas Nair. It is being said that Shreyas had allegedly supplied drugs to 25 passengers. It is likely that the drugs were brought in through cryptocurrencies.

These allegations against the organizers

Meanwhile, the NCB has summoned the CEO of Cruise for the second time and now he will be questioned again apart from the CCTV details and the list of passengers. At the same time, the Mumbai Police has started an investigation against the ship officials for not taking formal permission for the rave party on the cruise. If reports are to be believed, the organizers are accused of non-compliance with Kovid rules, non-payment of entertainment tax and ignoring cyclone warnings in the Arabian Sea.

NCB arrested 12 people

At present, NCB has arrested 12 people in the case. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar on Tuesday handed over Abdul Qadir Sheikh (30), Shreyas Nair (23), Manish Rajgarhia (26) and Avin Sahu (30) to NCB custody. This custody is currently till October 11.
