Assassination of Samuel Paty: four new college students indicted, including three for “complicity in terrorist assassination”

Four new college students were indicted Wednesday, November 25 in the investigation into the assassination of Professor Samuel Paty, beheaded on October 16 after showing caricatures of Muhammad to his students, according to a judicial source at franceinfo, confirming information from AFP.
Three of these minors, aged 13 and 14, were indicted for “complicity in terrorist assassination”, suspected of having designated the victim to the assailant Abdoullakh Anzorov in front of their college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), this source told AFP. The fourth person, indicted for “slanderous denunciation”, is the daughter of Brahim Chnina, the parent of a student behind the media campaign against Samuel Paty.
These four teenagers were placed in police custody Monday or Tuesday at the request of the anti-terrorism investigating judges of the Paris court responsible for the investigation. All were released under judicial supervision after their presentation to the investigating magistrates, added the judicial source. This new crackdown brings the number of people prosecuted in this case to 14.
