There was wind, fog, and a severe fight between Alexandr Loginov and Emilien Jacquelin, Friday January 7, during the Oberhof sprint. And in the end, the Russian won. A success built thanks to its precision on the firing point (9/10). Emilien Jacquelin, who dominates the general classification, was able to count on a very good skiing time to get on the podium. He finally finished in second position, just over six seconds behind Loginov.

The French biathlete thus consolidates his first place at the top of the World Cup, his runner-up and compatriot, Quentin Fillon Maillet, who finished 8th (+29.5) while the defending champion, Johannes Boe (25th, +1: 22.1) , still does not succeed.
