The last person missing in the collapse of the building that collapsed in Sanary-sur-Mer, in the Var, on Tuesday December 7, was found lifeless and extracted from the rubble on Wednesday December 8 by the firefighters of the SDIS 83, indicates the prefecture of Var.
The first two victims were found yesterday, a 30-year-old man and a 91-year-old woman. The latter’s son was still wanted by the emergency services until this afternoon. But, depending on the prefecture, “the emergency services arrived on site detected a strong smell of gas”. The gas supply was cut off around the perimeter around the building.
