Coronavirus: what follow-up for vaccinated people?

The coronavirus vaccination campaign was launched Sunday, December 27 in France in Dijon (Golden Coast) but also to Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis). After receiving the bite, the patients were kept under observation for 15 minutes to verify that there was no allergic reaction. Subsequently, a medical appointment is not mandatory, but a follow-up system is still put in place.

Once a person is vaccinated, a computer file is created. It contains the patient’s contact details, the date and place of the injection, the model of vaccine and even the identity of health professionals. If side effects are noted, the person vaccinated or the doctor can report them on the health alert, a platform directly linked to the Medicines Agency which will then conduct its investigation. In the event of serious adverse reactions detected, the vaccination could possibly be suspended.
