Covid-19: is France still lagging behind in sequencing?
THE CHEKING PROCESS – Determining the complete genomes of the viruses present in the positive samples is the only precise way to monitor the circulation of Sars-CoV-2 variants.
THE QUESTION. Sure CNews, on May 3, Philippe Juvin, head of the emergency department at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital (HEGP) and mayor Les Républicains de la Garenne-Colombes, assured that France “Did not give itself the means to identify the variants”.
