In Nuremberg, a building conservation project to cultivate the duty to remember

85 million euros will be spent on securing buildings in Nuremberg damaged by time, such as the Zeppelin stand and the Palais des Congrès, and telling their shameful story. “This is where it all started: destruction, exclusion and ultimately the Shoah”, which claimed the lives of 6 million Jews, justifies Julia Lehner, responsible for the culture of the Bavarian city. Some are concerned that these buildings could become a “place of worship” for neo-Nazis.
