The director also wants to salute the courage that Jean-Paul Belmondo had for twenty years. “To overcome this stroke, to manage to keep a zest for life and to pass it on. He is a character outside the name and at the same time totally close to everyone”, continues Danièle Thompson. “It was the love of life, Jean-Paul, of the theater, of the cinema (…) It is a wonder that has just left us, it is the end of an era.”
