Queen event, the mass start ends the biathlon weekend in Antholz-Anterselva in Italy, Sunday January 23 (3:15 p.m.). After the French recital on the individual Friday and the victory of Justine Braisaz-Bouchet in front of Julia Simon, the French are in great shape.
They will also be five to take the start out of the 30 participating athletes, making France the most represented country. Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Anaïs Bescond, Julia Simon, Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet and Chloé Chevalier will try to shine over the 12.5 kilometers to be covered.
With the impasses of the Oeberg sisters and Marte Olsbu Roeiseland, the race seems very open. The Belarusians Dzinara Alimbekava and Hanna Sola are to be followed very closely, as are the Austrian Lisa Theresa Hauser and the Czech Marketa Davidova. The two Italians Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi, in difficulty this season, could also recover at home, despite the absence of an audience.
