Do these things on the day of Nagpanchami

  • Keep a fast on the day of Nagpanchami as it is believed that it protects you from snake bites.
  • Worship the snake deities on this day and offer them milk, sweets and flowers.
  • At the time of worship on the day of Nagpanchami, chant the Nag Panchami mantra.
  • People who have heavy Rahu-Ketu in their horoscope. Those people worship Nag Devta on this day. By doing this, the problems coming in the horoscope can be removed.
  • On this day, keep in mind that milk should be offered to Shivling or Nag Dev with a brass pot. Use a copper vessel to offer water.

Do not do this work on the day of Nag Panchami

  • Do not forget to do farming on the day of Nagpanchami because doing so can hurt the snakes living there.
  • Avoid cutting trees on this day. Because it can injure the hidden snakes and cause their death.
  • Do not use needle and thread even after forgetting Nagpanchami. Doing this is considered inauspicious. Avoid using sharp and sharp objects on the day of Nagpanchami.
  • On this day no person should speak abusive words or fight with anyone.
  • On this day, neither use an iron skillet nor cook food in an iron utensil for cooking. Doing so can cause trouble to the Nag Devta.
