Health Care Tips: The problem of gas in the stomach is very common, but when it starts to build up in your stomach, then it proves to be very troublesome. If you feel that more gas is produced in your stomach than other people, then you should not ignore this fact. There can be some special reasons behind this. Let us know about those special reasons-
Inhaling too much air can lead to the formation of a gas- If a lot of gas is formed in your stomach, then one reason for this may be that you take more outside air. This can happen when you inhale air through your mouth. While taking air through the mouth, some bacteria go into your intestines and they work to make gas in your stomach. Some of this air comes out in the form of belching or gas.
nasty habits- If you have a habit of chewing gum or chewing hard candy, then this can prove to be a reason for gas formation in your stomach because while chewing it, you swallow extra air, which comes out in the form of gas. At the same time, the habit of eating quickly or drinking with straw also makes gas in the stomach.
carbonated drinks- Carbonated drinks like beer, soda, or any bubbly drinks act to make gas in the stomach. If you consume carbonated drinks and you often have gas problem, then instead you should consume a plain drink.
Due to diet If you include fiber foods containing psyllium in your diet, then it can be the reason for gas formation in your stomach.
Constipation or slow digestion If you are already constipated and the food is going slowly in your intestine, then this can also lead to gas formation in the stomach.
medical condition- There are some medical conditions that can cause gas to form in your stomach. Such as diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction or intestinal blockage, etc.
