Emmanuel Macron, announced Thursday, November 5, a doubling of “border police and customs personnel”, which will increase to 4,800 people, to fight against illegal immigration and terrorism. “Terrorist actions can be carried out by people who use immigration flows”, justified the Head of State, during a trip to Perthus (Pyrénées-Orientales), on the Franco-Spanish border.
