Ingredients for Raw Coconut Kheer
- Milk – 1 liter full cream
- Raw coconut – 1 medium size
- Sugar – 80 grams
- Cashew – 8 chopped
- Almonds – 8 finely chopped
- Raisins – 10
- Green cardamom powder – half teaspoon
Raw Coconut Kheer Recipe
1- First of all, put full cream milk in a pan and keep it for boiling.
2- When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame of the gas.
3- Now first cut the coconut into small pieces and grate the raw coconut.
4- Now put grated coconut in milk and keep stirring it with a spoon.
5- Now stir it till the milk comes to a boil. When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium.
6- Now cook the kheer till it becomes slightly thick. Keep stirring the kheer in between.
7- Keep in mind that the kheer does not stick to the bottom. This spoils the taste. When the kheer becomes a little thick, add sugar.
8- Now cook it till it becomes a little more thick. Check with a spoon whether the coconut has become soft or not. When the coconut becomes soft, add almonds, cashews and raisins to the kheer.
After cooking for 9- 2 minutes, add cardamom powder and switch off the gas.
10. Coconut Kheer is ready, take it out in a serving bowl and garnish it with almonds and cashews.
