What happened on Friday April 30, in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), during an intervention by the BAC which degenerated? That evening, the police officers of the brigade, called for nighttime noise, intervene during a clandestine party. On their arrival, several people try to escape from the building concerned by scaffolding. In images filmed by a local resident, we see a young man being pushed violently onto the hood of a car, before being hit several times by a police officer.
His girlfriend then tries to intervene, but she in turn is pushed to the ground. The young man is then handcuffed and pulled by the hair to the police car. His companion, who tries to intervene again, is sprayed with tear gas and thrown to the ground. After forty hours in police custody, the couple are released with a reminder of the law. In a press release published on Monday, May 3, the prefecture announced the opening of two investigations, one of which was entrusted to the IGPN, the police.
