► No curfew

The curfew is lifted from Sunday June 20 throughout France, announced Jean Castex on Wednesday after the Council of Ministers. During the music festival, it will therefore be possible to have a drink or stroll through the streets after 11 p.m.

► No standing concerts, bars and restaurants very supervised

We will still have to wait to jump to the rhythm of the music. On June 21, concerts must be held in front of a seated audience“In order to facilitate flow management and avoid regroupings and gatherings which will still, at that time, be prohibited”, informed the ministry. Since June 9, outdoor gatherings have been limited to 10 people.

Only establishments open to the public (performance halls, theaters, conservatories, etc.) will therefore be able to organize events, indoors or outdoors, in accordance with a 65% gauge and within the limit of 5,000 spectators.

Like last year, concerts “Impromptus” On public roads will be prohibited, as well as concerts in bars or restaurants when they are “Likely to generate groupings and increase the risk of indoor contamination”.

► Health pass required beyond 1,000 spectators

The health pass will be required for any establishment open to the public or in a place open to the public. more than 1,000 spectators. ► Cancellation and postponement in several cities

Faced with the constraints of the health protocol, several cities have decided to cancel or postpone the June 21 festivities.

This is the case of Strasbourg, which announced Friday, June 11 the cancellation of the events it had scheduled. “Even if we understand that the health situation is still fragile, we regret this late announcement”Mayor Jeanne Barseghian (EELV) said in a statement.

In the Grand Est region, the towns of Munster (Haut-Rhin) and Forbach (Moselle) have also decided to cancel this edition of the music festival.

AT Saint Tropez (Var), the municipality also preferred to cancel its program, while considering a postponement. Same to Toulon and Hyères, who both announced the postponement of the event, to be held “As soon as festive gatherings will be authorized again”.
