Parliament adopted the controversial anti-separatism bill on Friday 23 July. It notably includes measures on the neutrality of the public service, the fight against online hatred, or the supervision of family education. The text was approved by 49 votes in favor, 19 against and five abstentions, in a final vote of the National Assembly. Deliberation had been delayed for 24 hours due to the new anti-Covid-19 bill. Left and right have announced that they will seize the Constitutional Council.
