It brings to the presidential majority its first partial legislative victory of the quinquennium. LREM Minister Brigitte Bourguignon, in charge of Autonomy to the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, won the second round of the partial legislative elections in the 6th district of Pas-de-Calais, Sunday, June 6. She largely won, with 62.1% of the vote, against the candidate of the National Rally Marie-Christine Bourgeois (37.9%).

“Thank you to the citizens of Pas-de-Calais who renewed their confidence in me with a clear score”, tweeted Brigitte Bourguignon.

La Marcheuse, ex-PS, benefited from the indirect support of the ex-LR president of the Region, Xavier Bertrand, who called for “dam to the FN”. Marine Le Pen had denounced this call to the Republican front. “Unsurprisingly, Xavier Bertrand calls for a vote for the LREM candidate. He therefore wants one more deputy En Marche! These LR leaders have become Emmanuel Macron’s auxiliaries”, she lambasted in a tweet.
