Didier Deschamps was forced to make some changes before the matches counting for the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which start on Wednesday 1 September, with a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Strasbourg.

Hit a calf, Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is unavailable until the end of the rally. He is replaced by Mattéo Guendouzi, the midfielder of Olympique de Marseille. Called twice in 2019 by Didier Deschamps, the former Gunner has never walked a lawn with the blue jersey of A.

Insufficiently recovered from his left ankle injury, N’Golo Kanté will leave the rally on Thursday morning. It is Adrien Rabiot who will replace him in the group for the Ukraine-France and France-Finland meetings. The Juventus midfielder, present at Euro 2020 but who had not been called by the coach for this first meeting after Euro, played 18 games in the Blue jersey.
