Filmmaker BA Raju has condoled the demise of Ramesh Babu by tweeting and wrote on behalf of the Ghattamaneni family, ‘It is with great sadness that our very own beloved Ramesh Babu Garu has passed away. He will always be alive in our hearts. We request all our well wishers to follow the COVID guidelines and avoid gathering at the cremation site- Ghattamaneni family.’
As people are getting the news of his demise, they are paying tribute to him on social media. On the death of Ramesh Babu, many from the industry are expressing their grief by posting their own and paying heartfelt tributes to him. Director Ramesh Verma has written, ‘Shocked to know that Ramesh Babu Garu is no more with us. My condolences to Krishna Guru, Mahesh Babu Guru and the entire family. om Shanti.’
Mahesh Babu had recently shared the information about his corona infection on social media on 6 January. He had told that he is in home isolation and is following medical guidelines.
He wrote in his post, ‘To all my fans and well wishers… I have tested positive for COVID-l9 despite taking all necessary precautions. I have isolated myself at home and am following the medical guidelines. It is a request to all those who came in contact with me, they should get their test done. I urge everyone who has not had their vaccinations immediately, as this reduces the risk of severe symptoms and hospitalization. Please follow the COVID guidelines and stay safe.
