In its statement, Zomato said, ‘We believe that our advertisements convey the right message, but they are being misinterpreted by some people.’ It said that through these advertisements, they want to show the commitment of their delivery executives to the customers. Zomato has also said that through these advertisements, he also wants to give a message to the people that delivery boys should be treated well, which very few people do. Zomato has been accused many times of exploiting delivery boys and getting them to work badly. In response, Zomato has written that the delivery boys are paid appropriately for the amount of time they put into work.
