‘Samrat Prithviraj’ has a slow start at the box office, two-week-old ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ hits

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ beats Akshay’s ‘Sooryavanshi’
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has also done a business of Rs 4 crore on Thursday, the 14th day of its release. Whereas on the 15th day on Friday, its earnings are going to be between Rs 3-4 crore. Compared to the first week, the film’s earnings fell by 48% in the second week. In the second week, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has earned around Rs 47 crores. Whereas earlier this year release ‘Sooryavanshi’ earned Rs 45.60 crore in the second week and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ earned Rs 34.46 crore. That is, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ is ahead of all this. In terms of lifetime earnings, ‘Suryavanshi’ did a business of Rs 195 crore. In such a situation, it is being speculated that ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ has the power to cross this figure.
So ‘Emperor Prithviraj’ will earn more than 10 crores on the opening day
On the other hand, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ has been released on 3750 screens in the country on Friday. Generally any big film releases on 2000 to 2500 screens. That is, to make money at the box office, then a formula also works by increasing the number of screens and increasing the ticket prices. The makers of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ have adopted both these things. Ticket prices in many places range from Rs 700-800. In such a situation, the film can account for earning in double digits i.e. 10 crores or more with such a high screen number even after 15 percent of the audience reaches the cinema hall.
By the way, Akshay’s film can also earn 5-7 crores
It is quite possible that the audience will increase in the evening shows and night shows of ‘Emperor Prithviraj’. If this happens, then this film will comfortably earn more than 10 crores on the opening day. But if this does not happen, then one may have to be satisfied with earning 5-7 crores on the opening day.
