Shooting for ‘Adipurush’ begins with motion capture

Ever since the film ‘Adipurush’ was announced last year, it has been in constant discussion ever since. Directed by Om Raut, the film is based on the story of Ramayana, in which superstars Prabhas Bhagwan Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh Ravana. As far as the role of Sita is concerned, the names of Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Kirti Suresh have been revealed for this role so far. However, no one has been confirmed yet. Now the motion capture of this film has been taken.

A report of ‘Bollywood Hungama’ has been announced to start shooting for the film on 19 January 2021. The producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar, has told that in this film, such techniques of film making are to be used, which are commonly used in international cinema. He said that now we are trying to use these techniques in Indian cinema for the first time.

The ‘Adipurush’ Muhurta is to be held on February 2, 2021. VFX will be heavily used in the film. It is being said that the audience would not have seen such a VFX in any Indian film. Currently the film will be shot in closed studios so that the whole practice can be done before the actual shooting.

Talking about Prabhas, she has just started shooting for her next film Salar with KGF director Prashant Neel. He will be shooting for ‘Adipurush’ only after finishing shooting for this film. As far as Saif Ali Khan is concerned, he is currently shooting for his next film ‘Bhoot Police’. Saif will also complete the shooting of his film before ‘Adipurush’. Bhushan Kumar has told that ‘Adipurush’ will be released on 11 August 2022.
