Sonali Bendre returns to TV after 4 years of beating cancer, ‘killer’ style seen in glamorous pictures


Actress Sonali Bendre is making a comeback on TV after 4 years. 4 years ago i.e. in 2018, Sonali Bendre’s comeback on TV was diagnosed with cancer, after which she had distanced herself from the acting world. She moved to New York for cancer treatment. Sonali Bendre had also lost all her hair due to chemotherapy. But now Sonali Bendre has recovered from cancer. Sonali is returning to TV from season 5 of ‘Dance India Dance Li’l Masters 5’ after beating cancer.

Sonali Bendre will judge ‘DID L’il Masters 5’ along with Remo D’souza and Mouni Roy. Sonali has also started shooting for the show. Sonali Bendre has shared some of her pictures from the sets on Instagram. The excitement is clearly visible on Sonali Bendre’s face in these pictures.

Sonali Bendre was conscious about looks
Sonali Bendre recently told about the battle with cancer in an interview given to ‘Bombay Times’. She revealed how she had become insecure about her looks. Sonali had said, ‘My body has endured a lot and that’s why I needed to recover. I started focusing on my lost strength. When I returned to India from New York after treatment, I came on a wheelchair. But I didn’t want to come out of the airport on a wheelchair. So I grabbed my husband Goldie Behl and came out without a wheelchair.

Sonali had told in this interview how she had become conscious about her looks. But now she doesn’t pay much attention to it. Sonali had said that her body has changed a lot and she has accepted it. She has now started believing even more that there is beauty in imperfection too.
