Thalaivi: Kangana Ranaut says ‘Jaya Amma’ songs are part of pop culture

Talking about the songs, Kangana Ranaut says, ‘Jaya Amma’s songs are important because they are a part of pop culture. This song is an amalgamation of those tracks. Jaya Amma and MGR gave 60 to 70 songs together. They worked together for decades, but we had to crack it in the span of four days. In a day, I used to do multiple looks and hairstyles.
Revealing the experience of shooting the song, Kangana Ranaut while preparing for the latter part of the film said, “During my youth, Jaya Amma was very beautiful. But we were shooting for the second hour of the film. My director took it upon himself to make sure I was well fed. The food from his mother’s hand was brought in three tiffins. Directed by Vijay, ‘Thalaivi’ is set to release in cinemas across the world on September 10 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
