We cannot blame them for not trying. Again on the front Tuesday, July 13, the Tricolores did not know how to feel the good moves and must once again be content with the places of honor on the 16th stage of the Tour de France. The third day in the Pyrenees, smiled at the Austrian Patrick Konrad.

The runner of the Bora-Hansgrohe attacked from the first meters of the penultimate difficulty of the day, the Portet-d’Aspet pass (5.4 km at 7.1%), to win solo at Saint-Gaudens. He signs his first victory on a Grand Tour. David Gaudu (Groupama – FDJ), tried everything to come back to the Austrian champion, without success. The French climber takes 9th place on the stage. Pierre-Luc PĂ©richon (Cofidis) finished 4th, ahead of another Habs: Franck Bonnamour (B&B Hotels-KTM).
