Rakesh Bapat’s real name is Rakesh Vashisht. He was born on 1 September 1978 in Amravati. Rakesh Bapat’s father’s name was Major Padmakar Bapat. He died in January last year.

Rakesh Bapat has a passion for painting and is also a painter. He won the National Award for Painting when he was in class 9th.
