‘You will always be alive sir’, Bollywood mourns the death of CDS Bipin Rawat

There has been a wave of mourning across the country after the death of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. An Air Force helicopter carrying Bipin Rawat crashed in Coonoor in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Film personalities including Anupam Kher, Kamal Haasan and actress Urmila Matondkar condoled the death of Bipin Rawat. The passing of Bipin Rawat is a loss that will never be compensated. Everyone is shocked by this incident.

Condoling the death of CDS Bipin Rawat, actor Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter, “Deeply saddened to hear of the demise of CDS #GenBipinRawat, his wife and 11 more army officers. Had the good fortune of meeting General Rawat several times. He had amazing audacity in his personality and unfathomable love for the country. By joining hands with them, ‘Jai Hind’ used to come out automatically from heart and tongue! #Jai Hind’

Urmila Matondkar, while paying tribute to Bipin Rawat, wrote, ‘May the souls of General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika and 11 others rest in peace. I express my deepest sympathies to the family. om Shanti.’

Salman Khan was also shocked by the death of Bipin Rawat. Expressing condolences on Twitter, he wrote, ‘Very sad to hear that in this painful crash, we have lost General Bipin Rawat and other army officers including his wife. My prayers and condolences are with his family members.

Kamal Haasan tweeted, ‘The helicopter carrying Army officers including the Commander-in-Chief of the three Services, Bipin Rawat, crashed in the hills of Coonoor. My deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
